Investing in NXTClean Fuels, investing in the future of transportation
NEXT Renewable Fuels, Inc. and Industrial Tech Acquisitions II, Inc. (ITAQ) (Nasdaq: ITAQ), a special purpose acquisition company, signed a business combination agreement expected to result in a newly combined company to be known as NXTClean Fuels, Inc., (NXTClean). The boards of directors of NXTClean and ITAQ have each approved the transaction.
Our original development project is proposed for Port Westward near Clatskanie, Oregon and adjacent to the Columbia River maritime channel. If all permitting approvals are granted, this site will be the home to a renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel hub with production capacity of up to 50,000 barrels of clean fuel per year. NXTClean anticipates that construction of this facility will begin in late 2024.
Located in Lakeview, Oregon, Lakeview RNG will transform organic waste materials into renewable natural gas, renewable diesel, and clean hydrogen – benefitting environmental and community health in southern Oregon and beyond. NXTClean anticipates that the first phase of construction will be completed and operations will commence in the first half of 2025.
Made from a variety of organic waste materials, renewable diesel (RD) has up to 85% lower carbon emissions than traditional diesel and is a proven “drop-in” fuel. It is chemically identical to petroleum-based fuels and doesn’t require modifications to the equipment it’s powering.
Sustainable Aviation Fuel
Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is a cutting-edge renewable fuel made using organic feedstocks instead of petroleum. This results in up to 80% lower carbon emissions than traditional jet fuel, enabling airlines to accomplish their carbon reduction goals.
Pioneering a sustainable future
Our business is built on the goal of creating sustainable, accessible clean fuels that move the world forward, but our responsibility extends beyond that to our community, our team, and the environment we all share.
